Whitsome Enhancement Group (W.E.G) is a small group of people living locally, whose aim is to promote well being and inclusion and to enhance the village for the benefit of the local community. This is achieved by holding a number of fund raising events throughout the year to fund the enhancement of the communal areas and planting in and around the village. We look after the planters in the village and the upkeep of the grounds; including the Loaning which has a wooded area, mini orchard, poly-tunnel, wildflower area and sensory garden. The group also create the village’s wonderful Christmas Lights display each year!

Our famous Plant Sale is held every year and our next event is Sunday 2nd June!
