The shop is located in a dedicated space in the Whitsome Ark which it shares with the Post Office. The shop is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Village Hall and any profit made is fed back to the hall to support its running costs.
Whitsome Community Shop is run by a group of volunteers who keep the shop stocked, assist in the shop and keep it just so.
We try to stock the everyday essentials that our local community might want. Newspapers are delivered daily, milk and fresh bread twice a week. All of these can be ordered. We also stock a wide range of groceries from chilled and frozen goods to tinned and packeted food.
We try hard to respond to what our customers want and will always buy in stock that is requested.
Post Office
The Post Office is open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday 9am until 1pm. We are able to provide a wide range of postal and everyday banking services such as cash deposits and withdrawals and cheque deposits, bill payments, phone and travel money card top ups etc.
