Whitsome Winter Warmers
The very popular Whitsome Winter Warmer lunches start up again this Friday 14th November from 12:30 till 2:00pm. Come along to the Ark and enjoy a lunch of delicious hot, home-made soup together with filled rolls followed by a cuppa and something sweet to round it off, all while having a chat with your neighbours. No need to book and lunches are free to all, so come along and fend off the winter blues with good food and good company.
If you live in the village but can’t manage to travel to the Ark, drop me a line if you would like a portion of soup delivered to you at home.
Finally, all of our fabulous soups are home-made by local volunteers, so if you would be able to make the odd pot of soup for us over the winter, on dates to suit you, please do let Lynda know – your help would be greatly appreciated and as we are lucky enough to have grant funding to help support the lunches from the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, we can reimburse your ingredients costs.
