You may already have noticed that the lobby and loos at the Ark have been repainted, thanks to the generosity of Avondale Environmental, part of the NPL Group, who donated the cost under the auspices of the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund.
The work was carried out by local painter, David Kenny of Paxton, who did a fantastic job. The new paintwork has brightened up the main area and made it much more inviting.

The trustees were delighted to receive positive comments about the décor from visitors attending the recent successful community BBQ.
The hall is a popular community space, used by a wide range of local groups, and this refurbishment makes it even more attractive for regular and occasional users alike.
